OnYourMark Education and Medley Learning today announced a new collaboration to bring the most advanced and specialized high-dosage tutoring support to multilingual learners in schools across the country. The initial rollout will engage expert tutors and serve students across both charter and traditional public schools nationwide.
The collaboration is part of a broader effort by OnYourMark to strengthen instructional support for multilingual learners. Tutors participate in intensive and research-backed professional development designed to sharpen how they work with this student population. Beyond instructional development, additional topics will include recognizing the diverse linguistic and cultural strengths multilingual learners bring to their education, building on students' existing language skills to customize instruction, and using data-informed observation to identify and respond to each student's specific needs.
During tutoring sessions, tutors will work directly inside the tool, where they'll have access to immediate scaffolds they can share with students in real time — allowing instruction to adapt on the spot to student needs and learning objectives, and giving students access to grade level content.
