The initial rollout will engage expert tutors and serve students across both charter and traditional public schools nationwide. The collaboration is part of a broader effort by OnYourMark to strengthen instructional support for multilingual learners. Tutors participate in intensive and research-backed professional development designed to sharpen how they work with this student population. Beyond instructional development, additional topics will include recognizing the diverse linguistic and cultural strengths multilingual learners bring to their education, building on students' existing language skills to customize instruction, and using data-informed observation to identify and respond to each student's specific needs.
